World Video Premiere of Cucurrucucú Paloma by Magos Herrera and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería

Canal Washington, D.C.

We present the world video premiere of Cucurrucucú Paloma, by Magos Herrera and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería. The Mexican Cultural Institute is engaged in encouraging creative solutions to create art and deliver quality art consumption experiences during the pandemic.

This video, derived from the Mexican-American album and live digital experience Con Alma. Diarios desde el aislamiento, and filmed in isolation at the iconic UNESCO world heritage Santuario de Atotonilco in San Miguel de Allende, shows Magos Herrera’s rendition of a Mexican classic song like Cucurrucucú Paloma by Tomás Méndez, in her first ever recording with a symphonic orchestra. A fine example of the power of creation and teamwork and the new horizons that the pandemic has opened for the performing arts of the future. In conjunction with the San Miguel de Allende Tourism Board.
